After two long years, finally being at the Salone del Mobile was exciting and liberating; numerous meetings took place, with designers, architects, enthusiasts of the sector and exhibitors who gave new life and enthusiasm but also a profitable contamination of ideas and a great richness of stimuli.

The numbers of the salon? 2,175 exhibitors, 600 designers, 262,000 visitors, of which 61% from abroad. An international success.

US AT THE SALONE

We have interpreted exceptional marbles: Glacier, a Brazilian quartzite of great character, with marked veins ranging from black to dark green on a crystalline white background.

Games of veins have given life to surprising and fascinating open books.

WHICH TRENDS IN THE USE OF STONE AT THE 2022 FURNITURE FAIR?

Marble played a very important role; it has been proposed by many designers for the furnishing of all the environments, without exception. Absolute protagonist in the definition of the table tops and to enrich consoles in the corridors and entrances.

With its decisive expressiveness, given by the colors and textures, it has made the kitchens unique furnishing elements.

The decorations of the floors with inlays and the timeless mosaic have characterized the spaces.

Calacatta remains the most used marble with its luminosity and uniqueness, but preferences have also involved marbles with colors such as green, black and grey.

Marbles with marked and decisive veins were the great revelation of the Salone: Panda White, Silver Wave, Invisible Gray, Arabescato Orobico, Gran Antique, just to name a few.

The beauty of the grain that nature offers us has been enhanced by the workmanship: the leather finish for example, which underlines the softness of the surface and makes the material more contemporary, has left everyone pleasantly surprised.
