Exclusive Travertine design: the heart of a prestigious apartment in Monaco

The bathroom of this luxury apartment is a perfect example of timeless elegance, thanks to the use of Travertino Striato, a natural stone characterized by light and warm colors, crossed by refined longitudinal striations. This material was chosen to create an environment of great visual impact and at the same time highly functional, with tailor-made solutions that enhance its beauty and versatility.

For the floor and wall cladding, grouted travertine was worked with finishes designed specifically for use in wet environments such as the bathroom. The travertine shower tray, made with a brushed finish to increase its non-slip properties, blends perfectly with the shower walls, where the bookmatched processing and installation maximizes the natural texture of the travertine, creating a striking and harmonious design.

Complementing the refined aesthetics of the bathroom, a fine custom-made sink in Verde Alpi marble adds an elegant color contrast to the neutral tones of the travertine. This dark green base color marble, distinguished by numerous shades, lighter and darker, with deep and natural veining, lends character and uniqueness, making the bathroom a true protagonist of the project.

The use of travertine for interiors in combination with Verde Alpi marble bathroom cladding demonstrates how natural materials can be transformed into true masterpieces of design to create modern and luxurious environments that combine aesthetics and functionality.

In the half bath, the harmony between natural materials and contemporary design is enhanced by the use of travertino striato for the floor, which gives the room warmth and stylistic continuity with the other spaces in the apartment. The real star, however, is the Verde Alpi marble sink, recessed into the wall and embellished with three backsplashes that enhance its geometry and sophistication.

The front facing of the marble sink, which descends almost to the floor, creates a strong visual impact and becomes a sculptural element, giving depth and character to the entire bathroom.

The combination of the deep green of Verde Alpi marble and the warm, natural veining of travertine represents a perfect balance between simplicity and exclusivity, making this toilet a small jewel of functional design.

The kitchen in this apartment is a perfect example of how travertine, in its striated variant, can be transformed into the star of a sophisticated and functional environment. The travertine kitchen countertop, custom sink, and travertine kitchen backsplash were made using the continuous vein technique, creating a striking visual effect where the natural veins of the stone blend harmoniously with each other between continuity and symmetry.

Attention to detail and craftsmanship have resulted in a bespoke project, where every element – from the design travertine kitchen sink to the bar countertop – expresses elegance and luxury.

To ensure perfect harmony between the rooms, the kitchen floor was also made of travertine, worked with a precise cut and laid in a herringbone pattern. This choice echoes the Pointe de Hongrie parquet flooring used in the adjacent living room, creating a refined sense of visual and stylistic continuity.

The cellar/bar countertop, also made of Travertino Striato, creates continuity with the kitchen environment and echoes the warm, natural tones already used in the bathroom, creating a stylistic link between the spaces.

This coordinated use of travertine, with its timeless design and versatility, not only gives a sense of harmony to the kitchen environment, but also elevates the entire living space with a touch of sophistication and uniqueness.

A perfect marriage of functionality and aesthetics that reflects the essence of contemporary luxury.
